Halloween Nut Mix (Pumpkin Pie Spice Pecans and Sriracha Glazed Almonds)
Sweet and full of fall flavors, plus some with a punch of heat, these are a delicious snacking nut mix that is also excellent on cheeseboards for appetizers.

Ingredients
Pumpkin Pie Spice Pecans
- 1 pound pecan halves or other nut of choice
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup monk fruit golden
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon charcoal powder food grade, or 1 tablespoon black cocoa powder, optional, for color
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Sriracha Glazed Almonds
- 1 pound almonds or other nut of choice
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup monk fruit golden
- 1/4 cup sriracha
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200ºF and line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
For the Pumpkin Pie Spice Pecans
- Combine egg white, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, charcoal powder, vanilla and salt and mix until frothy. Stir in the pecans and toss to coat completely.
For the Sriracha Glazed Almonds
- Combine egg white, sweetener, sriracha and salt and mix until frothy. Stir in the almonds and toss to coat completely.
To Cook
- Spread nuts onto the prepared baking sheets (pecans on one and almonds on the second) and bake at 200ºF for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. The pecans will likely be donut 45 minutes, the sriracha will take longer to bake.
- Remove from oven when dry and toasty. When cool, store in an airtight container.
Notes
If you only make one type of nut, then the servings size is 12.
