The black cocoa in this savory loaf lends a beautiful dark color and faint hit of chocolate earthiness to this bread. This base of this recipe is slightly adapted from here.

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons psyllium husk powder
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons black cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 egg whites
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper.
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl while you bring the water to a boil.
- Add the vinegar and the egg whites to the dry ingredients, and mix well. While mixing dough with a hand mixer, add the boiling water (should take about 30 seconds). Do not over mix the dough, the consistency will be similar to Play-Doh.
- Moisten hands with a little water for ease of handling and the shape dough into one long baguette. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake on in the oven for 1 1/2-2 hours. It should sound hollow when you tap on the bottom. Allow to cool completely before slicing as it will continue cooking a bit.
