Cocoa Balsamic Vinaigrette
Earthy, sweet, tangy, and rich, this is a delicious and unique salad dressing. I like to serve this with mixed greens and sliced strawberries and toasted almonds.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard optional, but helps to emulsify the dressing
- 1 drop stevia glycerite or other sweetener, to taste
- generous pinch salt
- small pinch cayenne optional, omit for nightshade-free
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake well to blend completely. Dressing will keep for a week, refrigerated.
