Broiled Tilapia

This is a great protein sparing modified fast recipe. Serve with the sauce of your choice, such as Green Sauce.

Instructions

  • Preheat broiler and grease a baking dish. Set aside.
  • Mix the coconut aminos and oil and brush over filets. Add a bit of salt and pepper and place onto greased dish. Broil for 5-10 minutes, or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.

Green Sauce

A bright and punchy sauce for meats, vegetables, and salads. Recipe barely adapted from from Bon Appetit.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons white miso
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice fresh
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 4 teaspoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon monk fruit powdered
  • 2 cups cilantro
  • 1/3 cup chives
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Notes

Sauce can be refrigerated for 3 days. Makes about 1 cup. Serving size is 2 tablespoons.
