- 1 large tomato or 2 medium, diced
- 4 tablespoons red onion diced
- 1/4 jalapeño stem and seeds removed, minced
- 2 tablespoons cilantro minced
- pinch of cumin
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Stir together all Pico de Gallo ingredients, if using. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve atop the steak.
