Pumpkin Spice Steamer/Latte

Pumpkin spice is a classic for a reason – full of warm sweet spices and rounded out with a bit of pumpkin puree, you can make this steamed milk with or without coffee for an autumnal themed drink. These fancy steamed milk drinks are easily achievable at home. If you make them often, consider a milk heater/frother such as the one here. Of course, they can be made without it as well, see notes.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Califia almond milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon stevia glycerite 2 dashes
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice and up to 1/2 teaspoon if making a latte
  • 1 shot espresso optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a Capresso milk frother. Press the hot button and wait for the machine to turn off. Pour into a serving cup and enjoy. If making a latte, pour the espresso shot into the serving glass before pouring in the pumpkin spice steamed milk.

Notes

You can also make this with a handheld milk frother. Simply warm the almond milk in the microwave or on the stovetop until steaming. Then insert the frother and blend until frothed to the desired amount.
