Thai Basil Seed Drink (Nam Manglak)

Thai sweet basil seeds rehydrate when soaked in water and take on the flavor of whatever they are soaked in and add a nice little texture to drinks or desserts. I also like to add the rehydrated seeds to lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons Thai sweet basil seeds soaked in 1/2 cup water for 10 minutes
  • 1 tbsp rose water
  • lemon juice to taste
  • 3 cups water cold
  • stevia glycerite to taste
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a glass and serve.
