BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad
Creamy ranch dressed greens get topped with cheese, tomatoes, avocado, and grilled chicken with BBQ sauce for an easy, no-cook summery feeling salad. This is inspired by California Pizza Kitchen restaurant. Add any mix of fresh herbs you like.

Ingredients
Salad
- 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing homemade or pre-made such as Primal Kitchen
- 1/4 cup Mexican cheese blend shredded
- 4 ounces cherry tomatoes quartered, or 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 avocado diced, optional
- 10 ounces grilled chicken breast diced
BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar-free ketchup such as AlternaSweets or Primal Kitchen
- 2 tablespoons monk fruit golden, or 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
Instructions
- Add the romaine to a large bowl and toss with the ranch dressing. Top with cheese, tomatoes, avocado, and chicken. Set aside.
- Stir together the BBQ sauce ingredients and drizzle over chicken salad before serving.
