Pico de Gallo (Fresh Salsa)

Ingredients

  • 1 large tomato or 2 medium, diced
  • 4 tablespoons red onion diced
  • 1/4 jalapeño stem and seeds removed, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro minced
  • pinch of cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lime juice to taste optional

Instructions

  • Stir together all Pico de Gallo ingredients, if using. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve atop the steak.
