Blended Virgin Margaritas

Strong lime flavor with a hint of orange. This is a blended version of the classic.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 egg white optional, mellows the bitterness of the lime
  • 3 drops orange oil to taste (or 1/2 teaspoon orange extract)
  • 1 teaspoon monk fruit or 1/2 teaspoon stevia glycerite, more or less to taste
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Blend ice, lime, orange oil, egg white, if using, stevia, and pinch of salt.
  • Run a lime along the rims of two serving glasses and then dip them into salt. Pour the blended mixture into the glasses and serve.
