Dalgona Coffee
Dalgona coffee has become very popular lately popularized by Korea though it likely originated from India and Pakistan. Instant coffee is whipped with sweetener and used to top milk in a chilled coffee drink. You can add different flavors such as hazelnut, almond, pumpkin pie spice, or caramel to vary the profile of this drink.

Ingredients
For the Coffee Foam
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 1 tablespoon monk fruit powdered
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For the Milk
- 3 cups coconut beverage or almond beverage
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or coconut cream if dairy-free
- Sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Mix the coconut beverage, cream, and sweetener and divide it evenly between two glasses with ice, if desired.
- In a bowl, combine the coffee, monk fruit, water, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk either by hand or with a mixer until smooth and the resulting foam is creamy and holds its shape. Spoon onto each glass and serve, mixing the foam and milk to enjoy.
