Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk powder preferably whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream start with less and add more as needed to get a smooth dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon stevia glycerite or more to taste
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • pistachio chopped, for garnish, omit for nut-free

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead well with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Add more cream as needed so that it easily holds together when you squeeze some in your hand. Press into a pan lined with parchment paper sprinkled with chopped pistachios, if using (you can skip the lining step if you’re using a silicon pan), let stand 50 minutes, cut into cubes.
