Shrimp Alfredo
This dish is fast and easy while still being rich and filling. The lemon and parsley help balance the richness by providing a fresh contrast.

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1/2 cup Parmesan grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- pinch of nutmeg
- parsley minced for garnish
- zest of one lemon for garnish

Bring the cream and butter to a boil and simmer to reduce volume to half, about 10 minutes.
Add shrimp and cooked through and pink, about 3 minutes per side.
Add in cheese and nutmeg. Taste sauce and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley.
