Ranch Coleslaw

Tangy and full of onion, garlic, parsley, chives, dill, and pepper, this is an easy and delicious coleslaw.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise homemade aioli or store-bought, such as Primal Kitchen
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk powder or use apple cider vinegar to taste for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon chives dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper fresh ground
  • 2 drops stevia glycerite
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix see note
  • fresh chives for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Mix all dressing ingredients together and taste, adjust seasoning and then toss with cabbage mix.

Notes

You can also use 1/4 cup pre-made Ranch seasoning mix in place of the buttermilk and spices. To make your own coleslaw mix, combine the following:
  • 2 cups green cabbage 1/2 head, shredded
  • 2 cups red cabbage 1/2 head, shredded
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced
