Pepperoni Chips

This is a delicious high protein snack for when you are craving something with a crunch. The chips also make a great appetizer along with your favorite dip. Use turkey pepperoni for a low fat and high protein snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces pepperoni use turkey pepperoni for lower fat and higher protein (I like Applegate Naturals for turkey)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the pepperoni on the parchment, trying to keep the slices from overlapping so that they are in a single layer. Bake at 350ºF for 15-25 minutes (time will vary depending on oven and thickness of the pepperoni), checking often after 12 minutes. Blot onto a paper towel and allow to cool completely before enjoying.

Notes

These must be baked until crisp, so keep checking and testing as they get close to being done. They should snap easily.
