German Alcohol-Free Hot Christmas Punch (Kinderpunsch)
Sweet, tangy, floral, and full of warming spices, this is a delicious alcohol-free party punch that tastes like the holidays. This recipe is highly customizable. Make it more or less sweet, to your taste, vary the amount of lemon and vinegar to adjust the acidity and dilute with more water as desired. The longer you steep this the stronger the flavors will become.
Combine all ingredients except apple extract and teas and bring to a boil. Reduce to a low simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Add the teas and let steep, covered for 10 minutes. Strain liquid and stir in apple extract, if using. Adjust sweetness to taste and serve with a cinnamon stick for garnish, if desired.
