Garlic Aioli Baked Salmon

- 1 pound salmon
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or homemade aioli
- 1 lemon sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs chopped, optional

Preheat oven to 450ºF.
Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste.
Stir the herbs into the aioli, if using. Place the salmon on a greased baking sheet and coat it with the aioli. Top with the lemon slices.
Bake at 450ºF for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.
